One of our most unique offerings, these traditionally African-style finger pianos are made by our friend Hans in Tuminuma, Ecuador. Hans is a German ex-pat who has lived in South America for decades, making a small living in handmade beadwork, leather work and his lovely kalimbas. Formed from coconut shells and gourds, plywood and simple metal parts, these small instruments have a beautiful rich sound, and are easy to play.
